and Sunday March 14, 2010, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM both days:
The Saint Louis Shape Note Singers will hold their annual Missouri Singing Convention,
at St. John's United Church of Christ in Pinckney, Missouri (near Marthasville). Dinner on the grounds at noon.
Visitors are welcome to listen or to sing along. Singing from the Missouri Harmony and The Sacred Harp songbooks
which will be available for loan at the site. No admission charge; a free will offering will be taken to defray expenses.

Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 8 PM:
Meredith Monk & her Vocal Ensemble will perform with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and members of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus at Powell Symphony Hall.
Music by Stravinsky, Bartok, and Meredith Monk, including the world premiere of a new work by Monk.
