Java Jived to perform at Christ Church Cathedral again

Sunday, April, 19, 2009 at 2:30 PM, Java Jived will SING, SING, SING! at Christ Church Cathedral, downtown St. Louis at 13th and Locust Streets. Admission is FREE. This homegrown high-energy mixed octet performs jazz standards and pop favorites by groups such as The Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, and The King’s Singers. Selections will include Deke Sharon’s unbelievable arrangement of Louis Prima’s swingin’ classic Sing, Sing, Sing, plus In the Mood, California Dreamin’ and, of course, Java Jive.


Java Jived a big hit in 2007 cathedral concert

Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 2:30 PM, the St. Louis area's premier a cappella jazz and pop vocal group, Java Jived really jazzed up Christ Church Cathedral, 13th and Locust Streets in downtown St. Louis, performing a concert of 20th century jazz standards and pop favorites.

JAVA JIVED performed Sunday, April 15, 2007 on KDHX

Recorded live in the KDHX studios for airplay on Lotsa A Cappella, Java Jived sang five songs and told us about their repertoire and influences and about how they got together. This program aired Sunday April 15 at 8:30 AM Central Daylight Time on KDHX during the Lotsa A Cappella show. We are still playing highlights from that recording and from their demo.
